Hi, I’m Juanesa — wife, mom of 2 beautiful daughters, from Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, who once believed that the only way to provide for my family was to work abroad.
So I left.
I worked hard.
I sent money home.
But while I was busy providing…
my daughter was growing up far away from me.
I watched her through video calls and pictures.
I celebrated birthdays from a distance.
We were separated for years until we were finally reunited as a family in 2022.
I tried to stay strong even when my heart was breaking.
My in-laws lovingly stepped in and raised my firstborn while I was working overseas.
I will always be grateful to them for the love and care they gave her.
